Vladimir Denshchikov

Save for the faces and hands, the following religious icons are made by tying millions of knots. These mind-blowing portraits are the creations of Ukrainian artist Vladimir Denshchikov using a technique called macrame.

  4. Oh glory, I've had my hayday back in the 70's where I macramed wall hangings, hangin' glass table, plant hangers even a back window cover for my dad's pick~up but this blows me plumb off the hay wagon!!!

    These are so dainty and beautiful. I'm just sittin' here in awe.
